The magical teapot hits the road…

As we type, a very special new member of the Clipper family is being wrapped up and shipped over to Hampton Court for the flower show next week…finally the Clipper Teapot Tour hits the road! Over 19 days and 7 locations, our magical teapot will be surprising crowds and we will be giving away lots of free tea. We even have a giant Tea Cup Carousel which you can spin to win lovely Clipper cups.

Mrs Simkins’ Wedding Day Cupcakes


These have the most delicious, understated, and elusive raspberry flavour and are golden brown in colour. The pale peachy-pink buttercream looks very sophisticated and wedding-like. You may like to bake them in gold paper cake cases to add to the sense of occasion. Serve with a pot of Clipper Darjeeling which goes perfectly: it’s often referred to as the Champagne of teas!

Mrs Simkins’ Tropical Butterflies


Bring a balmy touch of the exotic to a weekend winter tea-time with these dreamy little cakes. The coconut frosting is slightly unusual but extremely delicious: loosen it with a spot of milk if it seems a bit stiff – or for a totally tropical taste, a little drop of coconut liqueur. The raspberry jam combines beautifully with the coconut: raspberry and coconut is a marriage made in Paradise.

Perfect with a cup of your favourite Clipper tea.
