Clipper Teas Tea Inspired Lyrics Competition – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

 

1.     The Clipper Teas Tea Inspired Lyrics prize draw (the “Promotion”) is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and The Isle of Man but not, excluding The Channel Islands) aged 18 and over except employees and their immediate families of the promoter Clipper Teas, their agents or anyone professionally connected to the Promotion.

 

2.     The Promotion opens at Wednesday 26th April 2017 at 00:01am BST and to enter participants must respond to the promotional post before Saturday 29th April 2017 at 11:59pm BST for the chance to win.

 

3.     The sender of each tweet, post or comment meeting the requirements of these terms and conditions will be entered into the Promotion prize draw. Entrants Participants must be members of Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and follow the @clipperteas account on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

 

4.     To enter:

a.     Log onto your Facebook account (or create one for free), and comment on the Clipper Teas Tea Inspired Lyrics promotional post with your own tea inspired lyrics, using the hashtag #TeaInspiredLyrics.

OR

 

b.    Log onto your Twitter account (or create one for free), and reply to the Clipper Teas Tea Inspired Lyrics promotional post, or tweet, with your own tea inspired lyrics, using the hashtag #TeaInspiredLyrics.

 

OR

 

c.     Log onto your Instagram account (or create one for free), and comment on the Clipper Teas Tea Inspired Lyrics promotional post with your own tea inspired lyrics, using the hashtag #TeaInspiredLyrics.

 

5.     By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Participants must abide by Twitter, Facebook or Instagram’s conditions of use. Any entrant posting or seen to be posting comments via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, or elsewhere, that are considered bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other entrants and followers of @clipperteas or are otherwise offensive or inappropriate will be disqualified from the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to alert Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to any such behaviour and the participant may have his/her Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account frozen pending investigation.

 

6.     Only one entry per person. Multiple, bulk or third party entries will not be accepted. Only the first entry made by a participant will be accepted. Offensive or inappropriate tweets will not be included within the draw. The lyrics submitted by winning entrants must be entirely original and don’t infringe any third party IP rights. Entrants You waive all moral rights. The lyrics submitted must be no longer than 10 words. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatever reason.

 

7.     All entries that meet the entry criteria will be consolidated into a spreadsheet. Each valid entry will be randomly allocated a number between 0 and 1 by a formula. All valid entries will then be ordered in descending order and the top ten participants whose allocated numbers are closest to the number 1, will be the winners (the “Winners”).

a.     After the Winners have been chosen, the next twenty-five participants whose allocated numbers are closest to 1 will be selected as the runners up (the “Runners Up”).

 

8.     The Winners will be contacted via a direct message or in reply to their original entry on Facebook and Instagram, or by direct message on Twitter (depending on the method of entry) by Wednesday 3rd May 2017 at 11:59pm BST and are required to confirm their real full name, home address, a contact number and if both themselves and an acquaintance are available on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 to attend The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event in London, by Friday 5th May 2017 at 11:59pm BST. If the Promoter cannot contact the Winners via the Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account provided at entry or if the Winners do not return necessary details within this timeframe, or if the Winners aren’t available on Tuesday May 23rd 2017 for The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event in London, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw using an independently verified computer generated system.

 

9.     The Runners Up will be contacted via direct message or in reply to their original entry on Facebook and Instagram, or by direct message on Twitter (depending on the method of entry) by Wednesday 3rd May 2017 at 11:59pm BST and are required to confirm their real full name, home address, a contact number by Friday 5th May 2017 at 11:59pm BST. If the Promoter cannot contact the Runners Up via the Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account provided at entry or if the Runners Up do not return necessary details within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw using an independently verified computer generated system.

 

10.  There is one prize per Wwinner for the ten main Wwinners. Each pprize is as follows: two tickets to The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event on Tuesday 23rd May 2017, £300 allowance per pair to be used only for expenses to attend the event, an animation of their winning Tea Inspired Lyrics, and a Clipper Tea goodie box consisting of a selection of Clipper Teas – for example: 1 x Organic Everyday Tea 80 bags, 1 x Fairtrade Pure Green Tea 80 bags, 1 x Love Me Truly Chai Infusion 20 bags, 1 x Organic Sleep Easy Infusion 20 bags, 1 x Flower Power Organic Infusion 35g (the “Prize”). There is no cash or alternative to the Prize prize stated. The Prize is subject to terms and conditions of use which the Winner by entering this promotion agrees to. The Prize is non-transferrable.

a.     The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event will be on Tuesday 23rd May 2017. In the Lumiere London, 1-2 Silex Street, 2nd & 3rd Floor, Southwark, London, SE1 0DW, United Kingdom.

b.    The £300 allowance per pair is to be used only in relation to expenses incurred for travel and/or accommodation required to attend The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event on Tuesday 23rd May 2017.

 

11.  Runners Up will win a Clipper Teas goodie box consisting of a selection of Clipper Teas. For example: 1 x Organic Everyday Tea 80 bags, 1 x Fairtrade Pure Green Tea 80 bags, 1 x Love Me Truly Chai Infusion 20 bags, 1 x Organic Sleep Easy Infusion 20 bags, 1 x Flower Power Organic Infusion 35g (“the Runners Up Prize”). There is no cash or alternative to the Runners Up Prize prize stated. The Runners Up Prize is subject to terms and conditions of use which the Runners Up, by entering the Promotion agree this promotion agrees to.  The Runners Up Prize is non-transferrable.

 

12.  The Promoter Clipper reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Clipper Afternoon Tea Event. Clipper reserves the right to retract the prize from the Winners should they fail to attend the event. Clipper Teas are The Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred by any Winnerthe consumer if that Winner fails the consumers fail to attend the Clipper Afternoon Tea Event, or for any compensation otherwise.

 

13.  The Winners and Runners Up may be requested, at their option, to participate in related publicity accompanying or resulting from the Promotion without further recompense. The Winners and Runners Up further agree that all materials produced pursuant to the promotion will remain the property of the consumer.

 

14.  Entrants’ personal data will only be used by the Promoter promoter. Names of Wwinners, places of residence and contact details will only be shared for reasonable publicity purposes subject to the grant of effective consent to do so by the Winners. However, further consent will be requested at the time.

 

15.  The Runners Up will be added to a reserve invite list for The Clipper Afternoon Tea Event, in the event that the original invitees cannot attend the event.

 

16.  No purchase is necessary to participate in the Promotion this competition.

 

17.  The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

18.  This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Twitter, Facebook or Instagram shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability caused by matters relating to this Promotion.

 

19.  This Ppromotion is governed by English Law and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
