This year we are celebrating Clipper's 30th birthday, so we're planning plenty of merriment over the next twelve months! However, 2013 was such a great year, we thought we'd look back on some of the highlights...

Who could forget our Teapot Tour, visiting some beautiful cities over the summer, meeting over 300,000 consumers, and giving away enough tea to brew nearly 6 million cups of Clipper goodness?! The Nation came together for the birth of Prince George, and we also celebrated the birth of our Everyday Specials, three new blends which offer the perfect cup of tea any time of day! And let's not forget we launched our new, beautiful website and our Tea Cup Carousel, whilst over in France, the Clipper team tootled around in a beautiful big green bus, handing out tea, and making people smile. All in all, it was an amazing but very busy 12 months!
PS. We've been busy working on this year's activity, and our TV campaign will be hitting the little screen later this month, so keep your eyes peeled for it, and please do drop us a line to tell us what you think!

With the Fairtrade Fortnight in full swing, and a trip to our Indian tea estates planned for next month, we've been looking into the difference fairly traded tea makes to the lives of people across the globe. Because of Mike and Lorraine's guiding principles, Clipper became involved with the Fairtrade Foundation in its earliest stages and policy development. We launched our very first Fairtrade tea in 1994 and in 2014, we are still the UK's No 1 Fairtrade Tea Company.
Clipper is incredibly proud to offer an entire range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which is Fairtrade. Fairtrade means working progressively; better prices for producers, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers in the developing world. We only work with producers who are striving to improve standards of welfare for workers and their families.
Through Fairtrade we support tea producers and surrounding communities, by paying a fair price for their tea, as well as a Fairtrade premium which can be invested back into the business or community. This premium is often spent on improving local infrastructure and supporting community projects, such as roads, schools and medical resources.
Our string and tag (S&T) 100 packs are a brilliant way to serve three fabulous Clipper blends, with easy access for quick serving. You can get our popular Fairtrade Everyday (CTN174), Big Breakfast (3007263), and Good Afternoon (3007264) teas in this format! All three are Fairtrade, and ready to order now.

Over the next few months, you might notice a slightly different carton in some of our EST formats. We are trialling a new production method, but the bag weight and contents shall remain the same. The lines which feature the cartons are our English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Pure Green and Peppermint.
We're thrilled to announce that you can now get your hands on some beautiful new Clipper stands, handmade from white wood, and able to hold both the 100 S&T format mentioned above and our 25 envelope boxes in one space. Contact your stockist for more information.
The Kallo rice cake portion packs are flying off the shelves, available coated in either milk or dark Belgian chocolate (3008177 and 3008176).
There is now a new addition to the coated rice cake family, glazed with milk Belgian chocolate and crunchy caramel pieces, currently sold in larger packs (3007212), but soon to be available in portion packs.
