On the 1st day of Christmas, Clipper sent to me..

CornishwareStarting our calendar of festivities off with a bang are T.G. Green, who have been making kitchen and tableware since 1864. Cornishware are kindly giving away a lovely red teapot, two mugs and a tea storage jar. As if that wasn’t enough, they’re also offering you 15% off when you quote CLIPPER15 at the checkout of their online shop!

T.G.Green began producing its famous kitchenware in Church Gresley, Derbyshire – a county famous for its pottery – using a nifty lathe-turning technique that scraped blue slip away from its beautiful ceramics to reveal white bands of clay beneath. Those stripes reminded an employee of the blue skies and white-crested waves of Cornwall, which is how Cornishware got its name!

To learn more about the history of those splendid stripes, check out the Cornishware website, and for your chance win everything you need to make a beautiful cup of tea, open up our 12 Days of Clipper Christmas book…
