Serenata is Britain’s first classical music festival and is taking place on Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast at Kimmeridge. Serenata will star international singing sensations such as Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Blake, Geoff Sewell and Faryl Smith as well as classical musicians, including clarinettist Emma Johnson, world-renowned violinist Ruth Palmer and pianist Benjamin Grosvenor.
A full children’s programme is being organised by the Pleasance Theatre and other festival highlights include a bespoke art fair, a scratch choir and orchestra, musical workshops and the finest locally-sourced food and drink, including of course Clipper Tea.
